Freeride on Goverla
Goverla is the highest top of the Ukrainian Carpathian mountains. For citizens of Ukraine it not usual mountain. It something like a symbol. Distance from Vorokhta and TRUTEN up to base "Zarosljak" at bottom Goverly - 20 km.
   
Goverla a favourite place for tourist trips to summertime, and an extreme of a quest in the winter. Goverla 2061 meter in height, is little bit lower in comparison with the Alpes, but charm at it especial, "carpatian".    
Some of its slopes are not easy way even in the summer, and during winter time they are really dangerous.    
Average time of an ascention in the summer on the easiest way makes about 2 hours. There are two basic tracks on top, but among others the way which passes through falls on the river Prut is allocated. Lifts on Goverla are not present, and everyone who has visited her, should be ready to strong enough physical loadings both at rise, and at descent.    
But any loadings and danger cannot stop extreme fans of skiing. The majority of them - youth from local, but is also visitors who risking own life try to catch adrenaline from freeride on Goverla. The ascention will borrow more than 3-4 hours with a high degree of danger to a life in the winter, but it does not stop skiers - fans of an extreme.   
Goverla it is located not so far from other Ukrainian ski resorts, but fans of extreme skis will not always exchange freeride on Goverla on "polished" Bukovel.
